MIKRO ANVIKA breaches Sale Of Goods Act

15 Jan 2012 12:22 taxpayer1 In Mid Oct 2011 i purchased a Samsung laptop RV711 from MIKRO ANVIKA CROYDON. Within 1 week it crashed, within the first fortnight it crashed 3 x and regularly since then. (the blue screen of death). The computer is an absolute dud, not fit for purpose under the Sale of Goods Act. I informed MA promptly and took the piece of shit down to them - they said that they were unable to identify the fault therefore could not fix it.

The problem persisted so i persisted with MIKRO ANVIKA CROYDON making it clear this product obviously has an inherent fault and is not fit for purpose under the sale of goods act; the statutory rights of which OVER RIDE their polilcies and warranties. I use the computer for work and under the sale of goods act if a product is unfit for purpose they need to provide me with a replacement while they 'inspect' this piece of junk. To add insult to injury they told me they may even bill me for repairs! what an impudence.

The retailer doesn't understand that the SALE OF GOODS ACT, which makes provision for the statutory rights of customers, OVERR RIDES their daft store policies.
This greedy little business expects me to cease business and lose earnings while they 'inspect' the piece of junk. I guess they don't know how fast news of BAD SERVICE travels. So be warned about this nasty little business that doesn't care about goodwill, doing the right thing, customer relations, or the sale of goods act, or YOU the consumer.
