I ordered some flowers today for a relative in the UK who is celebrating a birthday tomorrow. I later checked on the order, and to my horror discovered that the system did not complete the correct delivery address details after I entered the postal code during the online ordering process. Seeing as the order would only be delivered the next day, I sent an email to their customer service department asking if the delivery address could be corrected. I quickly received an answer that it cannot be done, as the order is 'too far in the dispatch process' and they cannot help me further. Is it so much trouble to pick up the phone or send a quick email to the specific florist to whom this order has been assigned to? Isn't that what customer service is all about? read more...
